On Sunday 29th May, 43 skaters and an army of parents, friends and family members made their way to Goodwood Motor Circuit to participate in the South Coast Roll.
Organised by John and Clare Upton, South Coast Roll provides the opportunity to skate as many times around Goodwood within a 5 hour timeframe. As part of our preparations, CPYT decided to do this as a sponsored event in order to raise money for our upcoming production off Starlight Express.
In total, our team of skaters completed exactly 200 laps.
This equates to 480 miles which is equal to 18.5 marathons.
It looks as it we have raised £1900 before claiming for Gift Aid.
