STEPS WE ARE TAKING TO MINIMISE THE RISK OF CORONAVIRUS INFECTION
As a result og the increasing number of cases ob Coronavirus here in the UK, we are reviewing all of our procedures to try and minimise the risk of Coronavirus infection. We are following government guidelines for educational settings and putting in additional measures if we believe that they will minimise risk. We are updating our policies as any government guidelines change.
The situation is moving quickly as you can imagine with 456 current confirmed cases in the UK. We are therefore introducing the following measures:
- We will be asking parents to not bring in food from outside The Arch. Sealed water bottles can be brought in but please encourage children to not share.
- We ask parents to inform us immediately if their child or any of their immediate family have a CONFIRMED case of Coronavirus and if this is the case to self-isolate for 14 days.
- We will inform parents if there is a confirmed case of Coronavirus amongst any of our young people. We will not give the name of the person concerned but will let parents know which group the student attends.
- We will inform you immediately if one of the adults becomes ill with Coronavirus.
We are constantly monitoring the situation and will inform you of any changes to our policies .
